Friday Afternoon Music: Larry Graham

 

From the 1975 album Ain't No 'Bout-A-Doubt It, this is Graham Central Station with "The Jam". 

Graham Central Station was headed by Larry Graham, formerly the bassist for Sly & the Family Stone, and is widely credited as the inventor of "slap bass" playing style. 

This style is on great display in "The Jam".
